Default Loud in Spin Cycle
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: S3200Y0WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Washer became very loud while in spin cycle only, so I replaced the bearing and seal located on top of the transmission. Didn't help. I'm now operating in the slowest spin cycle, so the noise is not as loud. Any suggestions?

The noise you are hearing may be in the clutch assembly.

Here is a link to your washer model S3200Y0WW.

Sheila,

With the belt removed, the clutch spins by hand freely and without any noise; could this still be the problem?
