HELP! A good samaritan neighbor recently replaced the dryer timer on my GE Spacemaker Laundry and loosened the washer control knob thinking it needed to be removed before removing the control panel.

He pushed it back in place last week-end, but while doing laundry today, it has come loose again. Can someone tell me how I might be able to fix it myself?

I do believe that the knob screws on for the washer control.
