Default Loose agitator
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LAT2600AAE
Age: 1 - 4 years

The agitator is loose on the Maytag. I can't figure out how to secure it. According to the parts list/ diagrams there is a set screw (#16). I don't see any holes for the screw. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

I would imagine that you are finding the top of the agitaor floating in the washer. Maytag has had a problem with that agitator. It is a 2 piece agitator replace both pieces. You can buy these parts on this web site. Take Care Tom
