I am looking to purchase a front loader washer and matching dryer. Would like to here opinions on what brand is best....

It is hard to say which brand to purchase.

It depend on the options you are looking for and the amount you wish to spend.

The amount really is not as important as the quality and dependability of the machine. I don't need any fancy options but don't want the bottom of the line either. I have heard that certain models have leakage issues or other minor things but I need something that is dependable since I wash about 14 loads of laundry a week.

Go with either Maytag or Whirlpool.

I agree, try to avoid L G, frigidair makes a prety good one also bettyboop

I would go with the Whirlpool Cabrio washer. All the good features of a front loader, but a top loader that doesn't have the vibration issues but is easier to load.

I really like Whirlpool. They have always worked well for me.

Was not aware of that, thanks, will remember. I knew Calypso was a dog with bad pumps and u joints.
