Default Load Size Large Only
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: Dependable Care Stacked Unit
Age: 5 - 10 years

Great Site!

My washer wont fill (work at all) unless the load size is set to Large. I've tried Small and Medium loads on all temp settings and nothing works. Only large loads on any temp/mode setting.

Help!

Thank you in advance.

Can you please supply your model number?

It is like a faulty pressure switch.

While looking for the model # (its looking like someone removed the model/serial tag ) I opened the front panel, looked at the switch, low and behold 2 wires were disconnected. I plugged them back in and voila its working perfectly. Im feelin a bit like a fool for not checking earlier. Oh well, at least its working.

Thanks again for such a great site, i did a lot of browsing today and i like what I see. I'm sure I'll be back soon.
