Default Leaky Washer
Brand: Amana
Model Number: NAV8800AWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

Working on Amana washer. Spin sounds like jet taking off. Leaks from seal at bottom of outer tub (in spurts). Trying to determine part numbers for seal and tub bearing... Serial number is 11777980EA. I think that means a 10 series.

What you have is a tub seal leak. Amana's are known for that. They start out leaking just a little at a time, where you won't even notice it. The water sits on the bearing, so when it goes into the spin cycle, it sounds like a canadian freight train. Buy another product. Go on my web site and hit more info, and click on washers and dryers, and fill out the info, and I will tell you the best product for your family. My web site is T.
