Default Kitchenaid Washer Won't spin
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: YKAWE667BWO
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Kitchenaid washer. It drains but does not spin. I pulled the front cabinet off and found black rubber underneath it. I know it's direct drive, does it have a belt that needs to be replaced or is it a clutch or something like that. Is it worth fixing as I have had 5 porcelain tubs in 10 years as they rust out. Any help will be appreicated.

Pull pump and motor, the coupler will probably be broken. If so get a new one with the steel inserts, they don't fail.

Does it blow the breaker as soon as you plug it in, or when you select spin.
