Default KitchenAid Washer flood!
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KAW5850LEO
Age: 1 - 4 years

Morning! About once to twice a year my washing machine decides to flood my utility room. Last night it did it again but this time there is some debris in the bottom of the tub. Could it be possible that whatever controls the draining of the water is clogged with debris? If so how do I access this to varify?

Thanks in advance,
Tim

What kind of debris is in the bottom of the tub?

Is the washer in use when this happens?

Can you please verify your model number as I can not locate it in our database?
