I have a kenmore washer that recently stopped agitating and spin. The water will fill and drain and the washer will go thorugh the cycles but it will not spin or agitate. Through my reading I see that it may be a coupling? My washer is an older model kenmore (#82781100). What would you suggest to try.

Yes your washer does have a coupling that control the agitating and the spin.

Look under the washer and see it you see black and white pieces laying on the floor.

These would be pieces of the coupling.
