Default Kenmore washer makes squeeking sound

Model Number: 110.28922790
Age: 5 - 10 years
when it is agitating it makes a loud squeeking sound. Sometimes worse than others. Any idea what is going on? I've been using it for weeks like this but am afraid I am about to run out of luck with it still working.

take off agitator and look for something stuck under it.#2 remove pump and see if something caught in pump
