Our front load machine is making a loud rattle/grinding noise as it's draining between cycles. It sounds fine otherwise. Is it the pump?[/size][/size]

The pump could be full of change, lint, and all kinds of stuff. What I usually do is unplug the washer, and pull it away from the wall about 3 feet, and then lean it back resting up against the wall. Then take the three torx screws out, and remove the lowert panel. Then right in front of you in the middle, is the pump. Unscrew the cover, and remove all the stuff. I have dibbs on the money. Thanks so much! Our wahing machine is fixed! We found 19 quarters, 5 dimes, 4 nickels, two bike keys, and one metal dog tag! I can't believe the thing was even working with all that change rolling around in the pump! Instead of paying a big repair bill, we actually MADE money!
