 Kenmore washer-just hums-wouldnt drain Brand: Kenmore Model Number: 110.23812100 Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Kenmore 80 series washer that has just stopped working. It stopped after the aggitate cycle and would not drain any water. left it for a while and still full of water and will not move to the next stage. I tried moving the dial hoping it would move to the next step and nothing. When it is on all it does is make a quiet humming sound. Will not spin/ aggitate/ drian etc. What could have caused this and is it worth repairing my self? Please advise!!! |
