Default Kenmore washer fills but nothing else happens
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11024622300
Age: 1 - 4 years

My washer fills but nothing else happens. I have completely unplugged it and checked the connections in the control panel but nothing seems out of place. I suspect some sort of a switch or sensor to be malfunctioning but I couldn't determine which one. Could it be the lid switch? What does this swicth do? Is there any way to test it other than replacing it with a new one?

Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

Might have a bad water level switch or lid switch. Will need a meter to check. Usually a bad lid switch will just stop spin.

Thanks a bunch Appguy. Looking at the swicth more closely I saw that it appeared broken and wriggling loosely. I will be ordering the part shortly. Thanks again!
