 Kenmore washer basket spins clockwise while agitating Brand: Kenmore Model Number: 82392100 Age: More than 10 years
The basket spins clockwise continuously (not fast) while the agitator is going back and forth. This clockwise spinning causes the clothes to wrap around the agitator. I can reach in the macine while it is agitating and hold the basket to prevent it from spinning clockwise, but when I let go, the basket starts spinning again. It's as if whatever is supposed to hold the basket in place is not doing its job. I think the back and forth agitating is causing the basket to spincontinuously. Is this something I can repair? |
