Default Kenmore - Reassemble HELP
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 23832100

I had a diagnosed Clutch problem on my kenmore washer. Bought the kit and disassembled the machine.
Had a busy night with the 2 year old who kept me so busy I did not take good notes on how to reassemble the darn thing... i have a new clutch kit, the machine apart and need to know Where the Clutch Retainer Clip goes Please!

thanks!

John

Default

If you have the plastic piece on the transmission, then set the clutch basket w/the lining on next, then insert the wire shaped retainer in the little hole, and ease it into place untill it snaps in place, then then take the flat "c" clip and slide it in to the grove in the transmission shaft, make sure you reinstall the special washer on top of the "c' clip and you're done.
