Unhappy Kenmore possible waterpump leak?
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11082873820
Age: 5 - 10 years

yesterday i pull my Kenmore washer out of the storage (for about 2-3 years)....and when i started to run it....it leaked ....i looked under...it looks like coming from the hole where the shaft goes into the waterpump....it was fine before i put into the storage....how did it go bad?? is it typical for that model of Kenmore washer? and do i have to get a waterpump or is there like a o-ring/seal i can just replace?

Was it in heated storage?

Setting for two or three years the seal could have dried out.

You will have to replace the whole pump.

Here is the pump for your washer model 11082873820.
