Hello, recently our washing machine has went postal on us. A couple days ago its started leaking water during the spin cycle and then we noticed it wasnt even spinning. The water it leaks is often black and hard to clean up. My research on the net led me to first believe it was the motor coupling but when i looked at it everything seemed ship shape. The motor does kick on during the spin cyle it just doesnt spin. Any help would be great.

Is the pump leaking?

Check your lid switch if it is loose or broken the tub will not spin.
