My central control unit needs to be replaced. Part #8182687. Does anyone know before I buy this, if this is something a person with minimal experience with repairing washer can do? The partselect person said it may not come with direction for installation.

It is real easy, just take the top off, and be sure the unit is unplugged, and it is located in the back in the middle. You really can not mess this up. You cannot plug the plugs in the wrong place. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
