Brand: Kenmore
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a Kenmore washer (model escapes me at the moment), and it stopped doing spin cycles all together. The timer still counts down. And I noticed that the lid switch is loose, and it doesnt "pop" back up when the lid opens. As well as it "feels" broken when i run my hand underneath it. Is it safe to assume that the switch is the source of my problem?
I'm asking only cuz i need to be sure and that other posts are similar to mine but not the same.
Thanks fella's.

Yes it is broken, and it happens when you drop the lid once too often.Replace lid switch.
