Age: 1 - 4 years

i am replacing the outer tub on a whirlpool washing machine i need to know how to take the nut spaner off the basket please help my wife is going nuts if i dont fix it thank you

There is a special wrench that is used by a technician but it can be done using a dull chisel.

The thread on the nut is a standard right hand thread.

Place the chisel in one of the four slots in the nut and give the chisel a good whack with a hammer.

If the nut is seize on you may have to split it to get it off.
