 Humming/Buzzing Sound and no movement afterwards Brand: Frigidaire Model Number: front loading Age: 1 - 4 years
The problem started when I was washing a load and went to check on it and noticed that the machine was stopped, the clothes had not been spun and there was water in my machine. I tried to restart the load and this is what it does and continues to do now: When I push the start button on my washer it sounds like its about to start up, then makes sort of a scraping/scuffing type noise for 1 second and then a humming/buzzing noise from then on. It will not spin or move or begin the cycle. Before this problem I had been having a problem with it starting and washing half way through and then it would start beeping. I would then have to go back and restart the load from the beginning. And then this happened. Please help! |
