Question How to remove the agitator
Brand: Amana
Model Number: LWA40AW2
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi!

I'd like some assistence on how to remove the agitator of this washer machine,
there's no visible nuts or clips to hold it down. The only thing that I see is a plastic
pin down in the center of the agitator.

You can wrap a rope around the bottom of it and lever/jank it out with a two by four on top of the washer.
