Question How to dismantle to replace lid switch
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LTE 6234AW0
Age: More than 10 years

Stackable unit needs lid switch replaced in washer-How do I dismantle the unit to access this switch. Also, I have a leak on the right side(facing machine). How do I get the covers off to check this out?

The model number you posted doesn't match the data base. Double check it. On most washers the front panel will come off. Look for screws at top and bottom. May have spring clips at the top that you pry up to raise the top. Either way should give you access to the switch.
