My washer fills the bin with water but does not agitate. I have taken off the front panel - I figured it was a broken belt, as it sounds like the electric motor is running. This is not the case, It just fills the bin for the wash cycle and sits there, then it fills the bin for the rinse cycle and sits there.
Any help would be appreciated... what part(s) do I need? etc.
If the motor runs in agitate, pull front panel,remove belt and turn transmission pully both ways. One way it will spin, the other way agitate. If no agitation, you have a bad tranny.

My roper washer fills with water will drain but does not spin out. Thought belt slipped off went underneath it did My spin cycle motor sounds like its running & we need to know where & belt is mounted
