I have a Hoover 2300L and the water seems to be taking soooo.....long to fill up.

I checked the faucet tap, the hose, and cleaned the filters behind it but it's still taking forever to fill, prompting me to manually fill it using buckets.

When I cleaned the filter though - I did notice a lot of rust debris which I suspect is coming from the old rusty pipes from this apartment.

But I did clean the filter out and the filter base. I checked it again after running a wash and it seemed pretty clean - but still the water seems to be coming in trickles.

Oh, btw our water is pretty strong here which adds to the puzzlement.

I could not find any info on your unit but this is a US site and I have a feeling you are from somewhere else in the world.

Is this a standard or a portble unit?
By filter do you mean the screen filters built into the fill valves?
Does it fill with hot only?
Does it fill with cold only?
It sounds like your filter is something that is not common in North America.
We just hook up directly to the hot and cold faucets.
