Default Help with Whirlpool Front Mount
Brand: Please select
Age: Please select

I need help with my new whirlpool front mount washing machine. I just need to know how to remove the feet so I can mount it to the pedestal. I've tried to just screw it out but it does not come out. Thanks for the help.

There is likely two nuts on each of the legs that you will have to remove.

The instruction should be taped on the inside of the pedestal drawer.

Can you please supply your model number?

Hello Court9272,

It's true the model number would be a big help but if I think we are talking about the same machine than see below. If not, disregard and have a great day!

Ok on the duet machine you need to remove the front lower panel. This is the panel below the door. I think it has three screws or something. Your manuel will tell you how to do this. Your manuel however will not tell you how to remove the feet. It does show how to install the pedestal but in their infinite wisdom they forgot to tell you how to remove the feet. Simple enough though.

Loosen the lock nut on each foot first. After the panel is removed, you will find another nut on the foot. Remove and wala! How do you spell wala! or Wahla! I don't know.
For the rear it's the same but you need to remove the rear panel to gain access.

Hope this helps
