Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: c82314381
Age: More than 10 years

Hi I have this old washer but it will not turn or spin it makes a sound and acks like it wants to turn but it wont. Help I am disabled and a widow so I cant aford to have it fixed. Thank you in advance for any help.

I am going to ask a dumb question but here goes: How do you get to inside of the warsher, I have never took one apart?? so I can see if a blet sliped or not?

You need to remove the screws on the bottom of the control panel and tilt panel back. Unplug spin connector and pry off two clips on each side,then remove entire washer front panel.
At the bottom pry off pump clips and the clips holding the motor in place. You will probably see the broken tranny coupler there. You will need to install a new one.

I have been looing for a" tranny coupler "can some one tell me where to look and how much it cost.... Looks like I will be doing it myself lol.. I pray for help I never did this before lol


ok now someone explain this It would not agatate or spill I went in there took a screw drived and help the latch button down nothing then I started check out the rest of the cycles and now it is working I dont know what to think because I did noting to it lolol praies Jesus it works lol

Your lid switch you held down may be going bad. Just stick something in there to keep it actuated.
