Default Help, looking for Roper washer info
Brand: Roper
Model Number: RAB4232EW1
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Roper washer model # RAB4232EW1. The motor hums, it wont spin and it wont agitate. It will fill up with water but that is about it. Water did run from under machine when stopped working. I can manually rotate agitator and drum when machine is off. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you hear a humming noise, that is coming from the bottom of the machine, it could be the motor, What you most likely have is a tub seal leak, that slung the water in the motor, and burn't the motor out. It is probably time to replace it. A repair like that would cost about $250.00. If you need help picking out a new appliance for your family, I could help you.
