Red face Greasy residue coming from agitator??
Brand: Amana
Age: 5 - 10 years

I noticed that there were small grease stains on some of the clothes I pulled from the wash the other day. While trying to find the source of the grease, I ended up pulling the agitator out, there was grease all over the inside of the agitator, and under the base of the agitator. I wiped it all clean, but the grease keeps coming back. Is there some kind of seal that needs to be/ can be replaced? If it's not a seal, what else could it be? Thanks so much!!!

If there is oil getting in the washer to seal in the transmission is bad.

Here is a breakdown of your washer model LWM833w.
