Machine won't operate in spin mode. Machine will filll with water, agitate, drain water but will not operate/engage spin cycle - can hear a sound like water pump or a motor rotating operation during entire spin cycle. This is a 6 years old machine. Any thoughts and pointers to a maintenance manual since I have not opened the case for lack of instructions.

The motor on the washer reverses to spin.

It has a separate pump motor.

Is sounds like the motor is your problem.

If the washer will not spin in any cycle it is likely the motor.
