My washer fills, drains and spins ok, but I have no agitator cycle. No sound at all when it is supposed to be agitating.

Well, I just torqued around the basket and agitator and it now seems to agitate ok.

However, I figure I should look inside and check for wear and such. Now a complete noob question: How do I get the top opened and front panel off this model?

You need a skinny screw driver or a narow putty knife. two tabs in front. your tub will probably break loose again. if it does it is a big job.
