Nothing to it. Shove a putty knife in the crack at the top of the panel on each side 2-3 inches from side, pull out at the panel at the same push in putty knife. i'll pop off.Bettyboop

Thank you for the response from Betty Boop. I tried to shove the putty knife in and pulling on the panel at the same time but I don't think I have enough strength for it to come off.

I finally got enough of the front of the open to see inside. There's a disconnected narrow black hose at the front of the washer but I can't find what it connects to. Again for GE washer,Model#wwsr3090t.
