Default GE Washer - electronic control panel
Brand: General Electric
Age: 1 - 4 years

Folks. I have a 3-year old GE washer that has malfunctioned. I had a technicial check it out and he told me that the electronic control board needs to be replaced Anyone know how I can obtain this part and replace it myself? Thank you for your thoughts.

Your control board part # is wh12x10271 I allways verify power to the unit per schematic and check the motor for burnout before spending $100 for module.

Thank you for the information on the control board. I have not replaced a control board before - is this something a novice can install/is there anything I need to know? Thank you for your help.
