I was awakened this morning to my wife swearing at the washer. She was able to fill it last night and it agitated. This morning she found it still filled with water and the control panel humming or buzzing. She (and now I) pushed the knob in to turn it off and it still buzzes. We have tried turning the knob to different settings to see if it would agitate or drain or fill without success. We tried unplugging it and plugging it back in to reset the controls. Of course I do not have the correct size torx head to take off the screws in the control panel, so I checked the drum to make sure the brakes, belt, pump and hoses were OK while I wait for Home Depot to open. Anything else I should be thinking of while I wait?
