Unhappy GE Harmony Washer blowing Main PCB/PWR Board?
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: WPGT9350C0PL
Age: 1 - 4 years

I've tried replacing the Main PWR/PCB Board on this machine, only to have the same circuit blow (IC300) after about 5 loads. What can I do to locate the source of this problem? At this point, it's DOA and a new board's on the way. Thank goodness it's still under warranty. The machine had given "a problem has been detected with this unit" message and when I pulled the listing, it referred to "the motor is not rotating properly" so, again luck has it warranty, I replaced that and resolved the motor issue. NOW, it failed to drain once, then I ran another load and did fine...go figure. After that problem, it gave "clutch connection broken" (as best as I can recall) and then dies after 3 more loads. What could be the origin? When it failed to drain, I first checked the hose and that was fine, draining perfectly on the test load. It's obviously an electrical part, but this machine's foreign to me and haven't been able to find a thing on Google searches for anything like it.
It's actually my neighbor's machine and I'm trying to help them since they can't afford to have a tech come out.

I have had one of these with the drain issue. It ended up being the pump. Every now and then the pump motor would stall. Havent had a continous problem with board sgoing bad though. Good luck with it.

Interesting. I wonder if that creates an overload on the board and blows the board???
