Default Fuse on electronic control module
Brand: Other
Model Number: ez1500
Age: 1 - 4 years

Our friends gave us an Equator ez1500 washer dryer combo. It is a front loading all in one machine. The tub will not spin. I pulled it apart to see what I could see. After some looking it seems the fuse in the electronic control module will blow as soon as it is turned on. It is a 1.6A 250V Slow blow fuse. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

It is very hard to say what would be causing the fuse to blow.

Is the fuse blowing black or is it just opening?

it is blowing black. all the way dead. I think the pump motor still runs. and it will act like it is going through a cycle. but the main motor will not run. This makes me think that it is because of the ecm. but what could be causing the overload?
