Hello my gibson frontload washer fills and spins but does not pump out water. there is a loud humming noise when it should pump out the water.

Ok so here goes, after taking a deep breath (first time trying to repair an appliance) I decided to open up the washer, followed the drain hoses to the pump and decided to take everything apart. Stuck in the pump was one of my girlfriends hair pins. Took it out, reassembled everything and so far things are going good.

Real glad I didn't call a tech.
