Default Front loader start problem
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: gltf2940eso
Age: 1 - 4 years

My front loader will not fill. It starts to fill, but water only runs a couple of seconds. It never advances to/through another cycle and the digital timer runs slow.

On the "drain/spin" setting, it drains for a couple of seconds and never spins.

Based on error code "E5E," I have replaced the control board and the pressure sensor. It seems more likely to be the door lock assembly than the speed control board.

I found a broken shock on the speed control board side.

Any direction would be appreciated!
Joe

The E5E code stand for a communication problem between the control board and the speed control board.

Check the wiring harness and correct the wiring problem.

If the wiring is good it is either the control board or the speed control board.

Code E 47 and E 48 are the door lock codes.

Here is a link to your washer model gltf2940es0.
