We have a 2yr old Kenmore HE4t front load washer. The inner basket has come loose from the supports. There is some kind of packing, caulk like brittle material everywhere. I've been told this is a very costly and time consuming repair. Do you have any idea of an average price to repair such a problem? Supposedly the basket itself is under warranty.

When you say the inner basket are you talking about the one that holds the close or the outer drum that holds the water?

Is the brittle material like cement?

If there is a part of the washer that is under warranty it is best to call Sears and have them look at it so you don't void your warranty.
