Default Fridgidaire Washer - new belt
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FWT445ge
Age: 5 - 10 years

The belt was very stretched. Opened the back and just slipped it off. How does the new belt go on. There doesn't appear to be anything to reduce the space between the wheel the belt rides on and the gear that turns the belt. It is too hard to stretch it to fit. How do I get it to over both areas. Thanks

You should be able to roll the belt on to the pulley.

Place the belt on the motor pulley and roll it on to the drive pulley by turning the pulley.

Here is a link to your washer model FWT445ge.

For a detailed parts list you will need the last two digits of your model number.
