Our maytag neptune washer (came with house purchased two years ago) stops before the spin cycle is complete. The clothes are quite wet and their is about a 1/4 inch of water at the bottom of the drum. We do lots of laundry with twins under two. Any ideas for a solution would be appreciated.

It sounds like there is something caught in the pump or drain hose.

Hi. If your washer is a front loader, I had this same problem. We have well water so the water is rusty, and there is a little filter where the water enters the machine (in the hose I think) and it was clogged. My husband cleaned it out and now the washer drains and spins properly. Clean it out at least once a year. We have an LG Tromm washer and dryer. I love it.
