Default Fills, won't agitate, spin, or empty
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LAT9200AAL
Age: More than 10 years

Washer filled, then quit. I manually emptied water. Pump will still put water in, but it won't agitate, spin or (obviously) empty. I "tapped" above the timer and it started to agitate once -- since then, nothing. I've jiggled connections on timer and other stuff in the top of the machine, as well as motor inside bottom of machine. There's power TO the timer -- I don't know how to tell where it's supposed to come OUT of the timer mechanism. The lid-switch CLICKS when I push it in and out, so I'm assuming it works.
What's next??
Thanks
don

Default

There is a fuse in the lid switch assembly.

If the fuse is blown the washer will not do any thing but fill with water.

If the fuse is blown replace the lid switches as one of them has stuck causing a short circuit.

Here is a link to your washer model LAT9200AAL.
