Default Fail to spin
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: fwt445ges1
Age: More than 10 years

Have a Frigidaire FWT445GES1 front loader.
In either Reg Heavy-or Wash or Delicate-Knits wash cycle the clothes will be wet upon termination of cycle.

Have to move the knob to Fast spin mode and clothes will dry enough to remove from machine(same as always in the above mentioned wash cycle programs).

Is this a timer issue, I would think that the clutch is good(it works on fast-spin mode) there are no obstructions in the drain(see above it works in f/s mode).

Is there something else I should check??

Thanks for the input.

Max

Default

It is likely the motor control that is located in the bottom right corner of the washer.

This is the control that controls the motor speed.

Here is a link to your washer mode fwt445ges1.
