Question "F02" code
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: Duet
Age: 1 - 4 years

Anyone know what this code means?

The washer starts to fill, and then stops after a few seconds. The timer then continues to count down. After several minutes, the washer will beep several times and then display this code.

This is a real easy fix. That means long drain cycle. First unplug the washer, and take the bottom panel off, there will be three torx screws holding it in on the very bottom. Once you get that off, the pump will be right up front in the middle. Unscrew the cap, Now be ready, you might get some water on the floor, so have a couple of towels ready, and pull the filter out, and WOW!!!! look at all that stuff. I got dibs on the money. Put it back together, and you should have it. Do this every three months for maintaince. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
