any help on what would be out for the washer not to turn on. Acts like no power but checked outlet and it has electricity but washer will not power up.

Is it one with Catalyst cleaning action?

Is it the calypso?

Does it have an electronic display?

It it does is there any codes in the display?

If there is nothing in the display and the control panel does not light unplug the washer and open the control panel and check for loose wire connection to the board.

To access the control panel remove the three hex-head mounting screws from the rear of the console.
