 Door latch Brand: Maytag Model Number: mah6500aww Age: 5 - 10 years
I am about to replace the door latch module for the 3rd time. This will be the 4th latch and they seem to last about a year. What could be the cause of these malfunctions? The door will be shut but it will not recognize this fact and the machine will not turn on. This time it began with the door not being able to open so I would have top pull the line to aid in opening the door. This went on for about a week and a half until now when the machine doesn't know the door is shut and will not enter begin washing.
Any help would be appreciated.
