Default Disassemble Whirlpool LSQ8520JQ1 washer
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LSQ8520JQ1
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to disassemble the face of this machine so that I can replace the timer?

My washer will fill and agitate but won't go to the next cycle so I'm pretty sure I need part# PS351216 (Timer). I just don't know how get to it to install it.

Default

If the lid switch is bad or broken IT WILL NOT DRAIN OR SPIN.
try it in normal, permanate press or gentle, but no drain or spin, most likely bad lid switch
