Model Number: gltf1040as0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Water is Leaking badly out the detergent/bleach/softner load door-going down the front of the washer?

It sounds like something may be out of place or the soap door is not sealing.

It also could be a blocked hose.

normal problem with those clean out the hoses they are blocked up run a short cycle every now and then empty to keep it clean

I had no idea the tray came out by a tab being depressed in the back left corner! The under side of the tray & the compartment was caked up with fabric softner-New user to our machine using too much softner! Great info. & thank you very much.I found the tray info. on repair.com

Sure was! the fabric softner was out of place-instead of where it was supposed to go it was caked up under the slide tray-I didnt realize the tray comes out for cleaning thank you for your time
