Default Crosley fills w/water then buzzes and burns
Brand: Crosley
Model Number: CW22B7V

Hello,
We have a 10yr old crosley CW22b7V that just stopped agitating, spinning, and draining.

It will fill with water, then buzz for about 10secs and shut down with a burning smell. It won't do anything for several minutes, then when we try to agitate, it just buzzes and shuts down again. Would this be the motor?

What's the best way to drain it if we can't get it working again (it's full of water)?

thanks,
Chris

The easiest way to drain the washer is to lower the hose to the floor with a bucket under it.

Once the water is out of the washer remove the belt and check the pump to see if it is seized.

Try starting the washer in the spin cycle with the belt off to see if it is the motor.

Here is a link to your washer model CW22B7V.
