The machine continues to fill with water. Fills and floods the whole house will not stop, would continue until Noah's Ark would float.

This happens every 50th or 60th time as long as we keep loads very small. It happens every time you start to relax and forget to watch it.

I have to bail the water down and move to pump cycle and it works alright.

It is most likely the water level switch also known as the pressure switch.

To make the water stop coming in what do you do?

Can you please supply your model number?

With your model number I can provide a link to the parts for your washer.

The model number is usually found under the lid were you put the clothes in.

It will be on a tag with the serial number.
